A: 1. Make sure the plastic sheet of the remote control is removed and the infrared hat is activated.

2.After putting the infrared hat on TacoBot, the transparent area of the hat will light up. Press any button on the remote control slightly higher than the hat. Each time you press the button, the light on the infrared hat will flicker. If this happens, it can be explained that the remote control and the hat are working well.

Q: Why does the sound hat not respond?

A: In order to block out the noise, it is necessary to talk to the sound sensor or blow it to activate the sound hat.

Q: Why doesn't Tacobot sing and dance in the module of “Music & Dance”?

A: 1. To connect to the app for the first time, the Bluetooth (the grey icon) in the upper right corner of the app homepage need to be connected firstly and then go back to phone Settings and connect to Taco_Audio with Bluetooth.

2.After connecting successfully with Taco_Audio, choose any music you want to play in the Dance module and Tacobot will dance.

Q: TacoBot is connected to the app properly, why can't TacoBot move?

A: Check whether all parts of TacoBot are connected correctly. If the connection is normal, the status light of the hat, body and base will always be on.

Q: Why is the ultrasonic hat unable to detect distance when performing a movement?

A: The ultrasonic sensor can only detect objects in the same height range as the ultrasonic hat. Please keep the objects at the same horizontal line with the ultrasonic hat.

Q: How to operate the infrared hat and button hat in the “Novice Task”?

A: Infrared hat: Click start and press the Forward button on the remote control to control TacoBot.

Button hat: Click start and press the R key on the hat to control TacoBot.
